Washington, 16 iun /Agerpres/ - Oamenii de ştiinţă au descoperit într-un eşantion de sol prelevat din Italia un nou antibiotic, care este eficient împotriva bacteriilor rezistente la antimicrobienii cunoscuţi, relatează vineri AFP. Acest nou antibiotic, produs de un microb, a fost numit "pseudouridimicină" (PUM). Descoperirea face obiectul unui articol publicat joi în revista ştiinţifică americană Cell.
