Bombay India was one of the cities we visited when i was on World Campus Afloat. I was shocked by the poverty and low standard of living. Just outside my hotel women washed their clothes in the waterway and their children begged us for coins. I remember cows (sacred in India) freely roamed streets and held up traffic. In the early am a few men roamed Bombay's streets with an open cart and picked the dead people and threw them on the cart and took them away.
