These lovely blooms are sitting in my Original Artwork bin, wrapped in plastic for protection, and ready to be framed by their owner. The work in my bin is part of a collection of sketches that I sell so that someone else can enjoy them. They definitely help me loosen up and acquaint myself with the strange action of alcohol ink, which is SO tricky, it just goes without saying! Sketches in inks are the way to go to build up confidence with these tricky “sketchy” alcohol ink characters!!

This is a sketch on Yupo, which helps me quickly flesh out ideas and color combinations before use them on a larger scale with panel or on a bigger piece of paper. I love the freedom of sketching, with nothing to risk but an idea and some time. I believe I was thinking of connectivity while I did this.

Before nailing paintings to the wall for my booth, I laid them out on the floor, and took a photo while standing on the chair. Swipe to see the photo of the collection on the wall in the booth—I just realized whoa! That’s pretty accurate!
