Gypsy. The second biggest minority in Romania are Gypsies. There is a lot of legends and superstitions about them. These people stayed for a while in a little village - Viseu de Sus - in Maramures mountains, in northern part of Romania, to catch a steam train to the valley of Vaser. Noone knows who the people are, where they come from and why they go to the mountains. (New toning) © Mieszko Stanislawski / Babel Images Babel Images

The merry cemetery of Sapanta. In this village, the people decided not to make passing away a grim event, but rahter to meet a life's end with joy, because it is not an end, but merely a new begining.
