a woman holding a sign that says she do you know this?

Hence my story for the reason behind OPEN and CLOSED syllables ⬆️ I teach my learners that the vowel will sing 🎶 it’s name but when the consonant comes (we stomp our feet 👣) it stops the vowel from singing (stage fright 🙈). For example, like the word “go” and “got”. I love how my learners were so excited about this new skill that they even added singing 🎶 faces to their vowels ❤️ making the learning stick 🧠 Interested in more phonics tips?
