I’m often asked if the kitchen island in wheels is safe, sturdy and stable… the answer is 100% YES 🙌 I’m barely able to move it a bit on my own, it is heavy and stable, it never moved on its own. I guess many things are to be considered, including materials used, size and what you have in it too. The wheels are rubber casters with no lock, screwed onto the plywood on each corner. If you have a smaller island and wheels are accessible, you could consider casters with locks.
