Now this is a mansion with a lot of character! It puts me in mind of the southern American plantations in pre-Civil War times combined with old English estates of the nobility in centuries gone-by. It's incredible, welcoming, family-frendly, offers privacy to residents and is just simply beautiful. I can't even begin to imagine the price tag or even the running and maintenance costs, though!
Nottoway Plantation. This plantation is the largest antebellum plantation house left in the South which contains 64 rooms, 7 staircases, and 5 galleries.
