We all know about the classic scene from Mean Girls where Halloween is defined perfectly. The one where Cady Heron says, “Halloween is the one night of the year when girls can dress like total sluts and no other girl can say anything about it.” The use of the term “slut” isn’t great, but sure – you get the picture. The camera then shows us a shot of Karen, wearing a tiny dress that is probably actually lingerie, and a pair of animal ears.
