This vintage hand drill belonged to my grandfather, a carpenter. He gave it to me in the 1960s. I estimate my grandfather used it during at least the whole decade of the 1950s. The tool is an eggbeater style hand drill. It is made of a wooden handle, the patina of which shows wear- - shallow nicks, small scrapes of paint.
