Do your students need more practice estimating fractions on a number line? Are they still unsure where fractions are located between 0 and 1? I put together a set of 36 cards with halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eights and ninths, ranging from 1/2 to 8/9. The cards give students practice estimating the placement of fractions on a numberline, and also sharpen estimation skills. The cards can also be used as a center activity or as a group/partner activity.
