@Know_Days_Off Sunday project - instead of D-rings, use hooks on the top of the "door" that way we can just take on & off for access to the storage door underneath = brilliant idea - why didn't I think of that?! Instead of building a door like the link suggests, how about using a ready made ikea table top (provided it is not hollow so we can attach display shelves to it). DIY budget version of a sliding barn door.
