Presented for you enjoyment is a Vintage Fenton Rose Compote Pattern Number 9222. The interior of the piece is stippled rays. It was made in 1973 when Fenton started reintroducing their carnival line in the 1970's. The base glass of this Rose is Compote is a dark amythest. The color of carnival glass is determined by the color of the glass on the bottom of piece. The color of the iridescence has no bearing on the determined color of the piece.
