Orthodox Cross

Also known as the Russian Orthodox cross, it is a Christian cross consisting of a basic latin cross with a slanted bar at the foot and a smaller cross bar at the head. The slanted bar represents the two thieves at the sides of Jesus with the right pointing to heaven and the left pointing down. The upper bar is for the sign above Jesus which read "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum" or "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews" often depicted as "INRI"
