I've always hoped for snow when I've been in Ohio and it finally happened this past 62 I finally saw my first snowfall. It was at night with light behind it (much like this photo) and I was mesmerized. It was like I'd witnessed a miracle.

"Meet me at the Clock" ... a classic in my offerings of downtown Traverse City

Downtown Traverse City in looks like this picture was taken in the winter.i've been in downtown traverse city before which is very nice, but never in the winter.

The turrets of The Village at Grand Traverse Commons rise above the trees not far from the center of Traverse City. Formerly the Traverse City State Hospital, it opened in 1885 as an Asylum for the Insane. Beloved by ghost hunters and architects (it is the last Kirkbride Building in the state), the Commons now houses shops, restaurants, luxury condos, and extensive walking trails. Discover outdoor concerts and farmers markets in the summer and well-groomed lanes for a stroll in the winter.

Love Grand Traverse Commons AKA Northern Michigan Asylum or Traverse City State Hospital.
