Prince Nicholas of Romania (5 August 1903--9 June 1978), 4th child and 2nd son of Queen Marie and King Ferdinand of Romania. Married twice, Nicholas had no children. After the death of his father in 1927, Nicholas served on the regency council for his minor nephew, Michael, who'd become king in lieu of his self-exiled father, CP Carol. When Carol returned to Romania in 1930 Nicholas was betrayed and banished by him. Nicholas died in exile in Madrid in 1978.
