Let’s Make Philly Cheesesteaks

Philly Cheesesteaks
  • thinly sliced beef
  • Provolone cheese slices
  • Onion
  • Sub rolls
  • S&P
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Coconut oil
Dice onion and season w/salt, fry in some coconut oil. Season beef with salt, pepper, & garlic powder. Cook in some oil until browned. Melt butter with some garlic powder to brush onto sub rolls to toast. Place meat in sandwich sized piles and top with cheese and onions, letting sit until melted. Scoop pile onto bun and top with mayo if you’d like.
    Yes these are made without peppers, I recently learned that the original cheesesteaks didn’t have peppers, and that it was an addition that was made in the West. I don’t like peppers so I’m more than okay to go without them, but feel free to add them to yours! 😋
