French salon chest of drawers, Transition period, circa 1770/80. Made in oak, with a salient central section, veneered in tulipwood, also decorated with marquetry ornament and panels in various partly dyed fine woods, 3 drawers, the lower 2 being “sans traverse”, bronze mounts with later gilding, stamped P.
