Architect: Harry Seidler (1950) Location: Wahroonga, New South Wales, Australia Stone was used here because brick was simply unavailable in the late 40s in Australia. The stone came from digging out the foundation of the property. The mural on the patio behind it was hand-painted by Seidler, himself, who studied under the Bauhaus painter Josef Albers at Black Mountain College.
