When Saint Paraskeva the New (11th cent Serbia) heard the Lord's teaching, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself,” she gave all her clothes to the poor. She became a nun at 15 and lived in a desert for 10 years, until an angel told her to return home. She died at age 27. Many miracles occurred near her grave, and her relics were uncovered incorrupt. Since the 17th century they reside in the Three Hierarchs Cathedral in Iasi, Romania.
