DIY Solar Light Lamp Post, Rust-Oleum Hammered spray paint- I love that the pole is cemented into a lightweight plastic container first, then placed in the planter. Lighter to carry, easier to put away at end of season. ~A.
Recycle your Old Chandelier to a Solar Lighting Accent for your Patio
Problem: Solar lights staked in yard are difficult to mow & weed eat around. Solution: Terra cotta flower pots & a bag of quick-krete. Mix concrete according to the package directions. Scoop into flower pot & immediately put light into the center (remove the stake first). It sets quickly so do one at a time. Once finished, you have cute, functional & completely portable outdoor lights. (Note: you will only need about a quarter of a bag of quick-krete to fill 8 pots).
Turn a rickety antique / vintage floor lamp into the most charming solar lights with this easy DIY! Perfect for outdoor parties, weddings, etc.- I just love this upcycle / repurpose project for an old lamp that I don't feel like re-wiring. #SadieSeasongoods
