Snagov monastery in an island of the Lake Snagov, near Bucharest. Ilfov County, Romania founded in the late 14th c.The Present Church of the monastery dates back to the beginning of the XVI c. The cells and other buildings have disappeared and only a few ruins attest to the existence of the old convent (XIV-XV c.).
