Peles is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania.It was built between 1873 and 1914 and inaugurated in 1883. Peles Castle is considered the most important architectural ensemble in Romania. Given the unique nature and through its historical and artistic value, it remains one of the most important and beautiful monuments in Europe and it is the most visited museum in Romania with more than 300.000 tourists every year from all over the world.
