Maria Sharapova was recently featured in vogue after the 32-year-old tennis player announced she would be stepping down from the world stage of tennis to focus on other opportunities. The Russian born pro has played in the USA under the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) since 2001. She is the only Russian native to hold the career grand slam title and has been number 1 five times during her tenure with the WTA.
