3.45 inch long Cody Complex spear / dart point made from opaque obsidian and surface found on private land in Otero County, New Mexico by Brandon Hightower. Both basal corners were identically snapped or intentionally burinated in prehistoric times. Flaking was fine collateral pressure which created a prominent medial ridge and diamond-shaped profile. Authenticators Rogers and Stermer called this a Firstview point, I call it an Eden. 9,500 to 8,500 years old. John Branney Collection.
