Solving quadratic equations
With references for slope, y-intercept, x-intercept, origin, grid, graph, table, x and y axis, domain and range, increasing and decreasing, quadratics, systems of equations, systems of inequalities, difference of squares, complete the square, Quadratic Formula, fractional exponents, term, expression and equation, this word wall is a great addition to your Algebra classroom.
Students will have an opportunity to add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational expressions using the Simplifying Rational Expressions Task Cards Activity. With flexible implementation, teachers can use these cards as a round-the-room review, partner or small group activity, or review flash cards.
Students are asked to define scatterplots in their own words. Nine questions ask students to identify the type of correlation (positive, negative or no correlation) that exists between two variables. Students are also asked to describe the steps used to write an equation for the line of best fit.

Riddles are a great way to practice solving quadratic inequalities and the riddles' self-checking nature provides quick feedback! I like how this set of riddles includes one riddle with solutions written in inequality notation, another riddle with solutions in interval notations, and a third riddle with mixed notation. #algebra2 #quadratics #inequalities
