They are the best cheap side dish for chicken, steak, ham, bbq, seafood and more! So easy and delicious! Even your picky eaters will gobble them up. my kids absolutely love them, especially with a little ranch for dipping.
Taco Rice with Creamy Queso Recipe
Ingredients: Taco Rice: 1 lb ground beef, 1 diced onion, salt & pepper, 4 cups chicken broth, ¼ cup taco/tomato sauce, 1 packet taco seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp oregano, 1½ cups uncooked white rice. Queso Sauce: 8 oz Velveeta Queso Blanco, 3-5 tbsp half & half. Instructions: Cook beef and onion in a skillet, season with salt and pepper. Add broth, taco sauce, seasoning, garlic powder, and oregano. Stir in rice, boil, reduce heat, cover, and cook for 25 mins. For queso, melt Velveeta with half & half in the microwave, adjusting consistency. Drizzle queso over taco rice and garnish with cilantro.
