A beautiful snack is Ryvita topped with anything you like. My favourite is tuna, mixed with red onion and tomato (although I had to pinch this picture off the web as I haven't eaten it recently.)

Something that's always in my cupboard is Chocolate Oatly! A milk made entirely from Oats, it is more nutritious than both Soy and Dairy alternatives. The chocolate drink is filling and refreshing, and is excellent when satisfying those candy cravings!

Quinoa, pronounced 'Keen-wa' (at least in the UK) is considered to be a fairly pretentious version of rice. However, it is nutty and flavourful, and proven to be much, much better for you than it's starchy cousin!

Bit of an odd choice for a healthy eating page but - butter! Many people still think that margarine is healthier for you than good old fashioned butter, when that is simply not true. Not only does butter taste an indescribable amount better, but is less dense with oils, making it better for us in the long run.

Tarts and quiches are also an excellent meal with salad. They tend to be quite high in calories, but providing you get one where the main ingredient is not cheese, they are filling and tasty.

A brilliant, easy dinner is poached salmon with asparagus. Simply wrap up the fish and veg and pop in the oven! It's very low fat and high in nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids.

Again, chicken for dinner! Brown rice is a great alternative to white - much more wholegrains, making for a flavourful, healthy meal!
