Something that's always in my cupboard is Chocolate Oatly! A milk made entirely from Oats, it is more nutritious than both Soy and Dairy alternatives. The chocolate drink is filling and refreshing, and is excellent when satisfying those candy cravings!
If you have a long day ahead of you, always go for porridge for breakfast. The slow release carbs will keep you raring to go all day! Oats are a natural slow release carbohydrate, and are an excellent tool when trying to lose or gain weight.
Quinoa, pronounced 'Keen-wa' (at least in the UK) is considered to be a fairly pretentious version of rice. However, it is nutty and flavourful, and proven to be much, much better for you than it's starchy cousin!
Always have eggs! They contain an incredible amount of nutrients, and have earned the nickname of nature's multivitamin for a reason! They are versatile, and have proven health benefits. A most eggsellent staple food!
Bit of an odd choice for a healthy eating page but - butter! Many people still think that margarine is healthier for you than good old fashioned butter, when that is simply not true. Not only does butter taste an indescribable amount better, but is less dense with oils, making it better for us in the long run.
This is currently the only bread I will eat. Vogels is packed with seeds and wholegrains, making it incredibly good for you! The slices are lovely even by themselves, as they are so filled with different flavours.
