A beautiful snack is Ryvita topped with anything you like. My favourite is tuna, mixed with red onion and tomato (although I had to pinch this picture off the web as I haven't eaten it recently.)

Something that's always in my cupboard is Chocolate Oatly! A milk made entirely from Oats, it is more nutritious than both Soy and Dairy alternatives. The chocolate drink is filling and refreshing, and is excellent when satisfying those candy cravings!

My staple breakfast tends to be omlette, made with a lot of veg - peppers, onions, ham, tomatoes, spinach, etc. It;s a delicious, filling, low-cal way to start your day!

I love onions! In my omelettes, with my chicken, my beef, my pork... They are flavourful, and relatively low in calories.

If you have a long day ahead of you, always go for porridge for breakfast. The slow release carbs will keep you raring to go all day! Oats are a natural slow release carbohydrate, and are an excellent tool when trying to lose or gain weight.

Quinoa, pronounced 'Keen-wa' (at least in the UK) is considered to be a fairly pretentious version of rice. However, it is nutty and flavourful, and proven to be much, much better for you than it's starchy cousin!

Green tea! It's loaded with antioxidants and nutrients, making it the healthiest drink in the world.

My spice rack is one of my favourite things in the world. Spices add so much flavour to any dish you are trying to create - meaning you cut back on fats to compensate! Furthermore some spices, such as cumin, are proven to help you when attempting to lose weight, whilst also being delicious.

Eggs! Always have eggs! They contain an incredible amount of nutrients, and have earned the nickname of nature's multivitamin for a reason! They are versatile, and have proven health benefits. A most eggsellent staple food!

I almost always have yoghurt in the fridge. It is fresh, easy and tasty - making snacking a beautifully fulfilling experience, with none of the guilt!

One of my favourite snacks are 'Eat Natural' bars. They have flavours to suit all taste and are a healthier alternative than a easy-to-grab bag of crisps!

One of the staple foods in my fridge is Covent Garden Soup. There are so many varieties it never gets boring, and are a healthy, fresh alternative to making your own! Easy for a healthy lunch.

Again, chicken for dinner! Brown rice is a great alternative to white - much more wholegrains, making for a flavourful, healthy meal!

Nothing's easier than a couple of crackers and a little bit of hummus! The crackers I most enjot are Ryvita Thins: Cracked black pepper and cheddar, with just a smidge of hummus to keep things interesting. Hummus can be very fatty, so careful with your intake!

mmm, greek yoghurt! A low fat greek yoghurt with some fruit of your choice and honey is a great way to satisfy a sweet craving when it comes to snacking.

Again- sweet potatoes are a must. Chicken is a healthy, relatively fat free meat, and lots of veg besides that makes a delicious dinner! Optional home made sour cream dressing ;)

This is a meal I ate out recently- showing there are healthy alternatives when you're going out with friends and family! Sweet potato fries are much more fiberous than their pale cousins, and contain a lot of vitamin A. Bypassing the bun on your burger leaves you with a great meal with less bloat afterwards!
