Queen Marie of Romania (British Princess--moved to Romania at age Queen Victoria's grand-daughter , her father was Prince Alfred ( Affie) , Queen Victoria's son .

Crown Princess (later Queen) Marie of Romania and her 4 eldest children.  From left, Princess Marie (later Queen of Yugoslavia), Princess Elisabeth (later Queen of Greece), Prince Nicholas, and Prince Carol (later King Carol II).  Princess Marie's father was widely believed to be Barbu Stirbey, her mother's long time lover.  To quiet the rumors Crown Prince Ferdinand quickly claimed Marie as his own.
