Just a few days after releasing the first trailer for Total War: Warhammer, Creative Assembly comes with new details regarding some playable factions from their upcoming RTS/TBS game. The playable factions will include the Orks, the Goblins, the Dwarfs and the Vampire Counts, while the Empire is still listed as an unplayable faction. Chaos will be more of a background threat in the plot of the game, in the style of an NPC faction.
The Witcher the first 15 minutes of gameplay video released. CD Projekt Red has just released a video featuring the first 15 minutes of PC gameplay from The Witcher Wild Hunt, right from the beginning of the game.
n-Space, the team behind Sword Coast Legends released a new gameplay video, this time giving us a better look at the Dungeon Master module, which will be included in the game. You can see one member of the development team acting as the Dungeon Master: setting traps, locking doors, spawning monsters, and laying deadly ambushes while the other member of n-Space is controlling a party of adventurers and trying to stay alive while he crawls through the deadly dungeon.
Sword Coast Legends is an upcoming Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game set in the fascinating world of Forgotten Realms (also known as Faerûn). The game is designed to be played as a shared storytelling experience (sic!), and beside a single-player mode it will offer a Dungeon Master module, in which the chosen DM will be able to engage a party of 4 players in multiplayer custom-made adventures, in the style of pen-and-paper RPG’s.

Eric “Wingman” Peterson, a former Star Citizen employee and supervisor of the Star Citizen persistent universe, has formed a new studio, called Descendent Studios, and wants to bring Descent back, in the form of a new game named Descent Underground.
Firaxis Games released an update to the classical turn-based strategy game Civilization III, delivering the much needed multiplayer support in the form of Steamworks multiplayer. Players of Civilization III were devoided of multiplayer support from last year, when the GameSpy network closed down.
Slitherine LTD, publisher of war games such as Frontline: Road to Moscow, Close Combat and Panzer Corps, announced the launching of their newest game, Vietnam ‘65. The game is a TBS in which a combination of guerilla warfare, intelligence operations, road & base construction, public and political support will emulate the character and feeling of the Vietnam war.
