WORD WORK This has been a successful center for me. It is great for sight word/vocab practice. Use the side of a classroom refrigerator, a magnetic dry-erase board, or the side of a filing cabinet for an instant learning center
To add a level of difficulty. I would add number cube to see how many letters to cover up at a time. Use tally marks, dots, numerals ect Free "find the letter" alphabet worksheets! Get them for uppercase, lowercase, and both!
Word Identification Depending on the nearby holiday or classroom theme at the time, create a corresponding craft that features a word family along with the numerous prefixes that can be attatched to the root word to create a variety of words.
