This week, we celebrate the life, service, and talents of US Army Air Forces Veteran and actor James Best, better known as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane from The Dukes of Hazzard. Less known was that he was also a gunner on a B-17 bomber during World War II. Best died on Monday. He was 88. Thank you for your service, James, and for a lifetime of memories!
