Gimmal Ring. In the 16th Century during the engagement the ring would be split, man wearing half and woman wearing half. At the ceremony they would be combined (woman wearing both, men did not wear rings after marriage). There are different versions, one with hands, another with hands and hearts, others with just a heart, and others with intertwining bands. Like the Russian Bands, but this version is thicker.
