I like how the text has a very informal, spray paint like design that matches New York's "bigger than life" appeal. All the text looks as if it uses as lines as possible to create each letter. This is done especially well with the "e" which relies on the top of "r" to complete it. The inner triangular points of "n". "y", "w", and "k" al repeat as well.
