The Hebrew word "Elul" is said to be an acronym for ani le’dodi ve’dodi li (אֲנִי לְדוֹדִי וְדוֹדִי לִי), "I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine" (Song 6:3), to encourage us to return to God, to become full of desire for the Beloved of our soul....
