Here is Alan Haskell and his beautiful white Nautilus model. Alan has built other Nautilus models (both for display and R/C use), but decided to try a different look with this one. To be honest, Capt. Nemo's probably could have used a paint job. Rc Model, Model Kit, Dirigible Steampunk, 3d Sidewalk Art, Deep Sea Diver, Walt Disney Co

The 11 foot Nautilus Hero model was apparently used for all of the shots of the Nautilus underwater. It is the one of the few surviving artifacts of the shoot and is shown here in the D23 exhibit at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA, where it was shown for a time. The fellow beside it is Erich Linder, who shot this and many other excellent high resolution photos of it. His photos are probably the clearest documentation of the Nautilus' shape and details ever done. Disneyland World, Scifi, Simi Valley, Sci Fi Ships
