La Columna de Trajano - Wazo Magazine

La Columna de Trajano fue erigida en el Foro Romano en el año 113 a.C. para conmemorar la conquista de la Dacia (actual Rumanía) y para ensalzar la gloria del emperador Trajano Ulpio. La columna tiene un altura de casi 40 metros (casi como un edificio de 9 plantas) con un diámetro de 4 metros. En la base de la columna fue enterrado el emperador Trajano. Una escalera de caracol, tallada en el mármol e iluminada por muchas ranuras, permite llegar a la cima, donde se situó una estatua de bronce…
