Yuan Dynasty. Robe with all-weather sleeves. Twill damask silk with couched appliqué. The robe has an overlapping cross collar with right over left, narrow sleeves. The sleeves, worn at full length during winter, could be folded back in the summer and attached to the robe’s back by slits in the fabric at the shoulders. This robe has a length of 119 cm, width of 224 cm across the sleeves and a width of 105 cm in the area of the skirt. China National Silk Museum.
