Octavian Paler wasn’t exactly a poet, but he occasionally felt the need to express himself through poetry. One of the most brilliant Romanian intellectuals of the past century, he slowly evolved towards a wisdom of deceptive simplicity.
Dimitrie Ioan Mangeron -1906-1991. Mangeron is one of the most prolific mathematicians in Romania. He has published over 600 works, including a comprehensive monograph in three volumes devoted to rigid body mechanics. He was interested in the field of differential equations , nonlinear robotics , astronautics , etc. He was multilingual. Read in 10 languages and published in six languages. He was a member of over 25 international scientific societies.
