Owl is an anthropomorphic owl from the Winnie the Pooh franchise that first appeared in Disney's animated short Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. Owl's character is based on the stereotype of the "wise old owl", though his "wisdom" is sometimes questionable. Owl was hatched in a tree near Eeyore's Gloomy Place in the Hundred Acre Wood. Everyone knows by now that I am fascinated by the interiors of animals. This Wise Old Owl by Chris Dunn is a fine example of the kind of detail that pleases me the most. Some of you may already have spotted this painting on my drawing board in a previous post.
