Timber roof structure

arii irie architects has completed 'warehouse in ageo', a light-filled space in japan topped with an exposed timber roof truss.

The winning design is from the pen of Powerhouse Company and De Zwarte Hond from the Netherlands and is to be implemented by 2019. The project team relies on our expertise for execution planning and structural planning.

The roof truss is defined as a load-bearing structural frame designed to bridge an internal space and support the roofing.

Aron Himmelfarb has created a tasting room with a glulam structure wrapped in Corten steel, which adjoins a craft brewery in Hudson Valley, New York.
