Daily Dose Of Sketch ✏️ on Instagram: "Henna art, also known as mehndi, is a traditional body art using a paste from henna plant leaves. Prominent in South Asian, Middle Eastern, and North African cultures, it's often applied during celebrations like weddings and festivals.

The process starts with mixing henna powder with lemon juice or tea and essential oils, then applying the paste with cones or brushes to create intricate designs. Once dry, the paste is removed, leaving an orange to dark brown stain.

Designs range from simple patterns to complex motifs and hold cultural significance, symbolizing protection, joy, and prosperity. Henna's temporary nature allows for expressive, non-permanent body art.
