River diorama

There are several methods to try out, have a look at mine, where I used a product from Vallejo.

3D river bed model

Diorama I made using about 80% leather and hairs like boar hair. Most of the shorter grass/needles are synthetic. I created real time lightning bugs by running fiber optics into the scene (check out the video at the end of the album to see them in action). I embedded two tiny leather fish about the size of a drop of water into the river epoxy (small mouth bass, and a northern pike). The diorama is about 23" by 18".
