I saw this on Facebook and love this idea!! To help their students finish the year strong, their PBIS team created a “Be Your B. E. S. T.” student store. 👏🏻 They are looking for students who follow expectations and we are handing out our “B. E. S. T.” tickets like water. We could do this monthly or once a trimester. Reward Points System and Home "Store" - We've been doing this for a while now and it works WONDERS!!!! Motivation #2: Class Dojo. Set up a reward dollar system to motivate students to read more. Any time a students reads a book give them $10. When a student willingly reads in class reward the effort with $5. Keep track of how much money students have and assign a tangible item to each $10 amount. For example: $20 for a trip to the treasure box. Also keep track of who are your reading leaders each week and put their name (or picture if possible on the board as well as a certificate.
