THE ROMANOVS BURIAL PLACE ~ The Peter and Paul Cathedral was found by Peter I, in 1708 he made it The Romanov dynasty's mausoleum. So starting himself all Romanovs (except Peter II, whose grave is in Moscow, and Ivan VI) were buried here. At the end of the 19th century the Cathedral had no free place for new graves, so The Princely Tomb was built and tied with The Cathedral.
