The other species of cicada I saw on Barro Colorado island, Panama. When newly metamorphosed it is similar in appearance to the first species, but there are a few differences like eye colr, size, body hair, head shape, etc... This species maintains prettier colors afterwards in comparison to the duller tones on the first species.

amazing how pretty this little bitty stuff is up close

She has taken time to come fully into her own...her wings have finally spread and she soars beautifully! This doll took close to two years to create into this form...which also mimicked my own life. I knew too I was but was still finding my voice- my wings. AND I have found this is life.
