From food-filled spreads to more politically charged pieces, Martin’s digitally-created illustrations pack a characterful punch

We all know that growing indoor plants like Monstera can bring one a feeling of calm, comfort, and peace. One could say it's the same as how having a feline friend can also help to relieve stress, relax, and unwind too. Therefore, I decided to create a series of illustrations putting both elements together, hoping to double up the soothing effect.

Having real-life contradictions is what makes us human. That is one of the reasons why it is so challenging to put all humanity in one box of understanding.

Drawtism says he's creating illustrations to disturb the comfortable. Or to comfort the disturbed. Whatever the case, one might call his works funny, low-brow, nonsense drawings... And the artist would be fine with all of these epithets. He just wants to help people escape the mundane part of day-to-day life.
