Since 2005 in conjunction with the Vanity Fair Special Projects Department, BWA has designed one of most prestigious and exclusive annual private party in the world: The Annual Vanity Fair Oscar party, held during and after the Academy Awards in Los Angeles. The takes place at a custom-built space between the Wallis Annenberg Center and Beverly Hills City Hall.

Hubert Kaulen and Casey Plasch from the 1440 Event Design team did a great job bringing the old Hollywood era feel to Rockwell on the river. By incorporating an interactive casino element and a DJ, they ensured that the attendees would have a great time dancing and partying throughout the night. The vintage Hollywood nightclub ambiance must have been amazing with the old Hollywood caricatures on the walls, reminiscent of the original Brown Derby in Hollywood.
