Grid girls

Former Arrows team boss Tom Walkinshaw has died at the age of 64 after a long battle with cancer.

The first grid girl was Japanese singer Rosa Ogawa in the '60s. The girls became increasingly glamorous in the '70s and 80s and were championed by Eddie Jordan in the '90s.

This was the second time that WTCC has graced North America and my fourth time covering the series. My focus in terms of race series will always be with Formula Drift, but WTCC is a close second. If there were not so many scheduling conflicts I would probably find myself at these races more often. …
