Filet pattern crochet

Pretty Rose worked in a filet stitch with a picot edge. This piece measures 9 inches by 9 inches work in the extended double crochet stitch. You can make it in the double crochet stitch but it will be a shorter. I used a # 7 steel hook and 200 yards of thread.
