Weirdcore is an online aesthetic and artistic act created or edited from amateur or low-quality photographic or digital pictures to feel conveyed confusion, disorientation, alienation, nostalgia or incompetence. Visually, it can express a strong feeling, the general photo appearance format and the feeling it brings exist on the old age Internet, about the late 90s to the mid 2000s.

May is usually known in the art community as the month of the Mermay challenge, where you're supposed to make one mermaid a day during the whole month.
